Hi,

I’ve installed a flood system in my yard using 2 inch pipe. The water is pumped from an irrigation ditch across the street from my house, so it's all piped under ground.

I've set up 5 grids in my yard, each have a gate valve coming off the main supply line. I have 2" pipe risers coming straight up out of the ground to flood the intended areas.

My concern is how to cover the pipe ends? I don't want to leave them open because of "critters" and kids. All in all I believe there are 25 risers. I was wondering if there is some type of "pop-up" flood head or simple cover with a hinged and spring loaded door of some type I could use to cover the ends?

As a kid I remember seeing some type of cast (probably aluminum) flood head used that attached to the end of the pipe. It was shaped similar to a 90 elbow but had a wide narrow mouth. I have spent countless hours on the Internet and can't find anything.

Any ideas?

Try ur Pluming shops and ask for a frog flap (thats what we call them here) not sure if 25mm is a stock item but 50mm they do would take much
to convert.
