What are the pros and cons of using center pivot sprinklers versus using drip irrigation?

Here are a few I can think of:

Centor pivots are limited to circular fields only, drip can maximize land use.

Centor pivots don't get chewed up by coyotes like drip does.

Center pivots probably last longer than the ten years that drip can last.

Center Pivots clogg less than drip irrigation depending on the emitter you use of course.

Center pivots are less efficient than drip especially in windy areas.

Center pivots cost more than drip upon installation but if you amortize over the life of the venter pivot it may be about equal.

Center pivot's use motors and wheels and bearing and gears and sensors so you have to be prepared to take care of this mechanical system. Drip is pretty easy to maintain. Especially if you have a good filter inline.
