I'm hoping that someone can help tell me how to disconnect an auto-fill that (against my wishes) our pond installer put in. It was shoddy from the beginning, and now runs all the time if the water to the irrigation system is on. I'm open to disconnecting it from the valve box (don't know HOW...), or disconnecting it from the entry point into the pond skimmer box. Unfortunately, fixing it isn't an option - I don't want chlorinated water going into my pond. The "float" no longer affects water flow - it runs all the time regardless of where float is positioned. Thanks for any assistance.
